I have been working in the field serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families since 2010. I have
worked in both administrative and clinical capacities. I have held positions in billing and compliance; direct support; and as behavior intervention specialist. I graduated from John Jay College in 2013 with my masters in Forensic Psychology. In my time working for non‐profit voluntary agencies under the auspice of OPWDD I have made many connections with Medicaid Service Coordinators (now Care Coordinators), Day Habilitation programs, Residential programs, Community Habilitation and Respite providers, Article 28 clinics and Article 16 therapists.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS
I have a strong background in compliance and billing regulations. I actively work to develop and implement behavior
support plans in efforts to decrease maladaptive behaviors and replace them with pro‐social behaviors and coping skills. In addition, I actively develop and implement Staff Action Plans to achieve goals desired by individuals and their families. I train and support direct support professionals in service delivery for both the achievement of attaining goals and decreasing maladaptive behaviors. From administrative to clinical, my service delivery is always person‐centered and individualized to meet the unique needs of those I work with and support every day
