EPIC Long Island began in 1953 through the efforts of a small group of parents whose mission was to help children with epilepsy lead productive lives. Sixty years later, we continue to make a difference in the lives of children and adults affected by epilepsy and have expanded our services to include multiple layers of care for thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. EPIC’s mission is to enrich the lives of those we serve through quality care, a broad range of services and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Our breadth of services, including 15 residential facilities and an array of programs for developmentally disabled adults, a mental health clinic, and dozens of programs related to epilepsy, touches the lives of 11,000 children and adults each year.
